Statutory Committees

Every higher-education institution in India is required by law to constitute specific committees to protect student welfare. Below is the list of BITE's active statutory committees with direct contacts for grievance redressal.

Internal Complaints Committee (ICC)

आंतरिक शिकायत समिति

Receives and investigates complaints of sexual harassment at the workplace from any woman employee, student, or visitor. Resolution is kept strictly confidential.

Anti-Ragging Committee & Anti-Ragging Squad

रैगिंग विरोधी समिति

Prevents ragging in any form on campus and off campus. Students may report any incident — anonymously or with identity — to any squad member, through the national helpline, or via the online form.
