Why this scholarship exists
Every year, thousands of CUET candidates in Varanasi and across eastern UP score well above the national median but fall just below the BHU or Allahabad University cutoff for their target programme. The standard advice — "drop a year and try again" — costs you ₹2-3 lakhs in lost earning time and rarely improves the outcome (CUET cutoffs trend upward). BITE recognises your CUET effort directly: submit your 2026 scorecard, we honour it with a Year-1 fee waiver between 15% and 50% depending on the band.

"Almost BHU" Merit

Score on the boundary?Submit anyway. Admissions committee reviews edge cases individually — students scoring within 5 marks of the next tier's threshold are routinely upgraded based on Class 12 aggregate and stated programme intent.
Visit /admissions/apply and complete the regular UG application form. In the dedicated field, enter your CUET 2026 raw score (out of 800).
Attach a clear scan / PDF of your official CUET 2026 score card (downloaded from cuet.nta.nic.in). No separate form, no additional documents required.
Within 5 working days, BITE admissions committee verifies the score and issues an offer letter mentioning your assigned tier and exact Year-1 fee after waiver. Pay only the waived amount to confirm your seat.
CUET is NOT required to study B.Com, BA, B.Sc, BBA, or BCA at BITE — admission is via direct merit on Class 12 aggregate plus MGKVP counselling. The CUET Merit Scholarship is an additional reward for CUET candidates; non-CUET applicants are admitted normally and remain eligible for UP State, National Scholarship Portal, and BITE's standard merit (60%+ Class 12 aggregate) and need-based aid.
