What is the D.El.Ed at BITE Varanasi?

The Diploma in Elementary Education at BITE is a two-year, SCERT-recognised and NCTE-approved professional programme designed specifically for teachers of Classes I–VIII. Where B.Ed prepares teachers for secondary and senior-secondary schools, D.El.Ed is the Right to Education Act 2009-mandated qualificationfor primary-school teaching in India — and is the gateway to government-school assistant-teacher posts in Uttar Pradesh, central-government Kendriya Vidyalayas and Navodaya Vidyalayas, and most private schools.
