MBA without CAT? Yes — AKTU admits on CUET-PG.

Yes. CAT is required for IIMs and some private B-schools — but AKTU-affiliated MBA programmes admit through UPTAC counselling on CUET-PG scores, and any seats left after counselling are filled through the university's own vacant-seat pre-registration, on CUET-PG first and graduation merit second. At BITE Varanasi (AICTE-approved, AKTU code 1284) that is the whole route — no CAT anywhere in it.

Fully. The degree is awarded by AKTU (Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University), and the programme at BITE is AICTE-approved — the same regulatory class as any CAT-admitted private B-school MBA. The entrance exam does not change the degree.

You cannot register for UPTAC counselling without CUET-PG. In AKTU's pre-registration for vacant and management seats, CUET-PG holders are ranked first and remaining seats go on graduation-degree merit — so a graduate without any score can be considered there, when the university opens that window. A MAT, CMAT, XAT or GMAT score does not add a route: AKTU's rules do not read those scores.

No. AKTU's 2026 admission rules allow admission only through UPTAC counselling and the university's own vacant-seat process (plus the 15% management quota, also run through the university). There is no college-level direct-admission window, and no AKTU college can lawfully allot a seat on a CAT, MAT, CMAT, XAT or GMAT score. If a college tells you otherwise, ask it for the university order that permits it.

The admission route doesn't change the fee: the inaugural Golden Batch (2026-27) pays ₹1,65,000 total for the two years — ₹20,000 less than the regular ₹1,85,000 structure that begins 2027-28. 60 AICTE-sanctioned seats.
