Code the Future — full-stack computing with project-based learning
Admission 2026-27 details — fees, deadline, eligibility, scholarshipsFull-stack computing programme covering programming, databases, web technologies, and emerging areas like AI/ML.
The Bachelor of Computer Applications at BITE is a three-year, project-heavy programme built for students who want to write code, ship products, and enter the IT industry at graduation. The curriculum, affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith, spans programming fundamentals (C and C++ in semester 1-2, Java in semester 3, Python in semester 4), data structures and algorithms, databases, operating systems, computer networks, a full web stack (HTML/CSS/JavaScript plus one modern framework), and emerging-tech electives — AI/ML foundations, cloud fundamentals, mobile application development. Every semester has a dedicated programming lab and a small project. BITE's digital lab is open beyond scheduled class hours so students can practice, collaborate on group projects, and prepare for industry certifications (Oracle SQL, AWS Cloud Practitioner, Google Cloud Foundations, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals). Semester 6 is a major capstone project — typically a web or mobile application built for a local business, internal academic use, or as a portfolio artefact. BCA from MGKVP is recognised for direct MCA admission, government IT-officer roles (BSNL, SBI IT, ISRO support), and private-sector junior developer positions. The programme has 60 sanctioned seats; admission is merit-based on 10+2 percentage with a brief screening interaction to assess motivation and mathematical maturity (strongly recommended since core BCA subjects assume it).
Topical overview only. Refer to MGKVP's authoritative syllabus for the complete course structure and credit details.
Eligibility for each scheme depends on category, income, and merit criteria. Visit scholarships for application details.
