Assistant Professor — Computer Science

One post. Teaching across the six-semester MGKVP BCA — C, C++, data structures, Java and DBMS — plus BITE's own Python and AI/ML project track, and supervising the semester-5 and semester-6 projects. Our 60-system lab supports parallel programming, DBMS and networking practicals. BITE requires three years of teaching at UG or PG level in a recognised college or university. Preferred: AI/ML or Python teaching, industry certifications, lab or networking-practical experience, expertise in communication and soft-skills training, and academic-administration experience (coordinator, examination or IQAC roles). Regular appointment, paid twelve months a year, six-month probation; subject to MGKVP approval under Section 31 of the UP State Universities Act, 1973.

Running one-to-one career guidance for students across 17 programmes, delivering RIASEC aptitude assessments, and building the placement side of CareerArc. The MBA's inaugural cohort graduates into a programme whose positioning depends on its first placement outcomes, so this role carries real weight.
Looking for:
Master's in Psychology, Education, Social Work or an MBA (HR); experience in career guidance, counselling or placements
Owning BITE's digital presence end to end — paid campaigns on Meta and Google, organic social, campus content and video, WhatsApp broadcast, and reporting against real admission outcomes rather than vanity metrics. Also owns press and partnership outreach, which is currently the single biggest constraint on our organic search visibility.
Looking for:
Bachelor's or Master's in Marketing, Mass Communication or equivalent; hands-on with Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads and GA4; fluent written Hindi and English
Counselling prospective students and their parents through programme choice, eligibility, fees and scholarships across all 17 programmes, and bringing them to campus to decide. Postgraduate enquiries — MBA, M.Com and the MA programmes — are part of the brief, so the conversation has to hold up. Front-line for a cohort that arrives from across Purvanchal and Bihar, often as first-generation higher-education entrants.
Looking for:
Postgraduate degree in any discipline; one to two years in admissions, education counselling, academic advising or a similar customer-facing role; professional spoken and written Hindi and English
Running the admissions team day to day for the 2027-28 season — the counsellors, the digital platform managers who handle website, Meta, Google and WhatsApp enquiries, and the school outreach team — under the head of admissions, who sets the plan and the targets. Runs the school-visit programme in person: presentations and career-counselling sessions in English-medium schools and intermediate colleges across Varanasi and the neighbouring districts. Handles enquiries personally when it matters, guiding and convincing students and parents and bringing them to the campus; breaks monthly targets into daily and weekly plans, reviews the CRM every day, and reports enquiries, campus visits and admissions each week.
Looking for:
Postgraduate degree in any discipline; two years or more in admissions, education counselling, sales or operations, including experience leading or supervising a small team; professional spoken and written English and Hindi, comfortable presenting to a school hall
