AKTU MBA admission runs on CUET-PG scores — the earlier UPCET exam is discontinued. If you hold a CUET-PG score, you are counselling-eligible.
uptac.admissions.nic.in — AKTU's centralised counselling portal for all affiliated colleges. Create the candidate profile, upload documents, pay the counselling fee.
List colleges in preference order. To choose BITE Varanasi, add AKTU college code 1284 (MBA, 60 AICTE-sanctioned seats). Higher preference = higher chance of allotment there.
The portal allots seats by merit + preference across multiple online rounds. If allotted, pay the seat-acceptance fee within the window and choose freeze (accept) or float (wait for an upgrade).
Complete document verification at the allotted college and pay the first-semester fee to confirm the seat.
Seats remaining after the rounds return to colleges for institute-level direct admission on graduation merit — CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT and GMAT holders welcome, but no score is mandatory. At BITE this window is how most direct candidates join; enquire early to keep your file first in line.

UPTAC (Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counselling) is AKTU's centralised online admission process for its affiliated colleges, run at uptac.admissions.nic.in — registration, choice filling, and merit-based seat allotment rounds for programmes including MBA.
CUET-PG. The earlier UPCET exam is discontinued — AKTU MBA counselling runs on CUET-PG scores. Candidates without CUET-PG can still join through the institute-level vacant-seat window after the counselling rounds.
BITE Varanasi's AKTU college code is 1284. Its MBA is AICTE-approved with 60 sanctioned seats — the inaugural Golden Batch (2026-27) pays ₹1,65,000 total, ₹20,000 below the regular structure.
They return to the college for institute-level direct admission on graduation merit. This window opens after the UPTAC rounds conclude — at BITE, candidates who enquire early are processed first when it opens.

No — only the MBA (BITE's AKTU-affiliated programme) goes through UPTAC. B.Ed uses UP B.Ed JEE counselling, D.El.Ed uses UPBEEC, and the MGKVP undergraduate programmes (BA, B.Com, B.Sc, BCA, BBA) are direct merit admissions.
